This event promises us to a tour de force of new technologies and how these can influence the changing face of the high street. We will take a look at  gamification, multi store gift cards, click and collect and augmented reality. 14.40 – Gavin Stewart, Brighton Business Improvement District (BID) Manager: A BID’s role in the future high street. The Brighton BID (trading as Brilliant Brighton) is now in its second term and delivering a business plan to 517 city centre shops, restaurants , bars and cafes.

With a total investment over five years of £1.8m, the BID has been pivotal in supporting the city centre, creating a sustainable business environment and delivering value for money to the BID members.

15.05 – Matthew Powell, Director for Policy & Partnerships, Revive & Thrive: Providing value for money for BID levy payers by providing the right solutions for your retailers

15.35 – Daniel Gipple, CEO, Reward Your World: Joining up the ‘dots’ in a community. How ‘non retail’ stakeholders in a community can benefit from driving footfall through a town centre and make use of shared space.

16.10 – Hannah Bowden, Director for Strategy & Innovation, Revive & Thrive: It’s Time4Towns to compete. Presentation of a journey that converts ‘couch to customer’ and turns ‘apathy into action.’
